TOURNAMENT NEWS

Georgetown won it's 1st Big East Tournament Championship since 1989 by blowing out Pittsburgh. We had a total of 3 Perfect Brackets this year. This is the 1st time since I started running the Big East Tournament Pool that it took a perfect bracket to win. Below are the Final Results: 1st Place - Harry Cain ($900) (6pts off the Total Points) 2nd Place - Joe Soper ($350) (22pts off the Total Points) 3rd Place - Ray Salamone ($150) (41pts off the Total Points) 4th Place - Ron Maringola ($80) Congratulations to all the Winners of the 6th Annual MarchPools.com Big East Tournament

TOURNAMENT RULES

Each entry (bracket) is $20. Entry fee must be paid and received prior to tip-off of the first game at 12pm on March 7th. If your entry fee has not been received you will be removed from the pool unless you have made other arrangements with the administrator. Feel free to enter as many times as you like. This year we will be scoring the same way as last year. You will receive points for each correct match winner you choose. The number of points will be calculated as follows: Winner's Seed # x Round # For example: You chose Seed #8 to defeat Seed #9 in Round 1. You would receive 8pt. 1(seed) x 1(round)=1pt If you chose Seed #12 to defeat Seed #5 in Round 1 you would receive 12pts. 12(seed) x 1(round)=12pts You chose Seed #12 to defeat Seed #4 in Round 2 you would receive 24pts. 12(Seed) x 2(round)=4pts If you have any questions please contact the Pool Administrator
