ACC Men's Basketball Tournament

TOURNAMENT NEWS

North Carolina won the ACC Championship by beating North Carolina State. This was a tournament filled with upsets, but the No. 1 Seed still ended up coming out on top.

We had a tie for 1st Place but only one of them picked the Champion correctly. Below are the Final Results:

1st Place - Greg Bell aka The Goat ($550) (correctly picked the Champion)
2nd Place - Barry Shea ($250)
3rd Place - John Pesce ($100)

TOURNAMENT RULES

Each entry (bracket) is $20. Entry fee must be paid and received prior to tip-off of the first game at 12pm on March 8th. If your entry fee has not been received you will be removed from the pool unless you have made other arrangements with the administrator. Feel free to enter as many times as you like.

This year we will be scoring the same way as last year. You will receive points for each correct match winner you choose. The number of points will be calculated as follows:

Winner's Seed # x Round #

For example:

You chose Seed #8 to defeat Seed #9 in Round 1. You would receive 8pt. 1(seed) x 1(round)=1pt

If you chose Seed #12 to defeat Seed #5 in Round 1 you would receive 12pts. 12(seed) x 1(round)=12pts

You chose Seed #12 to defeat Seed #4 in Round 2 you would receive 24pts. 12(Seed) x 2(round)=4pts

1st Place - $550
2nd Place - $250
3rd Place - $100
